Seattle Like a Pro

This is a very delayed post but it's really the first chance I've had to write it since it happened. Over the first half of my wonderful spring break I spent time in Seattle with my lovely sisters Sarah and Jamie. I had a fantastic time as they showed me around the city and the surrounding area. We sampled several local restaurants as well as their great cooking, saw the underground city, did some hiking, and had a lot of fun!
It was very hard for me to leave because I really haven't had the chance to spend lots of time with them since they have always lived far away. I hope that someday they will live closer to here or I will live closer to where ever they end up because I greatly value their advice and input, especially when writing sermons and I hope that they will get to hear me preach someday. After this trip it was hard to get back into the school mode but here are some pictures that remind me of the wonderful time we had.
I had a great time taking pictures at the Pike Street Market.  It became a sort of social project for me that involved getting out of my comfort zone.  I gave money to all of the street performers and I decided that I was going to buy 12 tulips and give them out to 12 random strangers on the street to judge their reactions.  I wish that I would have taken pictures of each person I gave one to but I felt awkward enough just handing them the flowers.
Waterfalls are beautiful, no matter how you shoot them but I really love the blurred water capturing the motion.

The best pictures happen when no one knows you're taking them
